To ensure proper attribution of the Tripadvisor brand and use of Tripadvisor content, follow all guidelines in this document.
Logos
Our logo and lockups are to be displayed prominently and in close proximity to our content.
Primary Logo for light backgrounds
Our logo should ideally appear in black against a background of either our light brand colors or light parts of images which allow enough contrast for clear logo visibility.

Never invert the logo
For circumstances where a dark background is required, we have a secondary logo which superimposes the Ollie logo over a circle of TripGreen (see below) or white.

Secondary Logo for dark backgrounds
If your background is too dark for our primary logo, please use our secondary logo. Always place Ollie logo on the circle white or Tripadvisor Green #34E0A1 (please note, Tripadvisor Green is different from Tripadvisor Moss #00AA6C, which is used for the bubble ratings) background.

Ratings & Reviews
Always use the bubble ratings that are provided in the API response. Do not use your own rating icons.
For an individual business or property
- When displaying an aggregate Tripadvisor bubble rating, be sure to include the Ollie logo to the left of the bubble rating
- The Ollie logo should be at least 20 pixels in height
- Bubble ratings graphic should be at least 55 pixels wide
- Bubble ratings should be standard Tripadvisor Moss #00AA6C (or #84E9BD in dark mode)
- Bubble ratings should have white as a background - the page background should not show through
- Ensure information is left-aligned

For a single traveler’s individual rating
- Use the bubble ratings alone without the Ollie logo
- You may only quote from a rave review – a review accompanied by a 5-bubble rating – if the overall property rating is at least a 4 out of 5 and you MUST include the date of the quoted review
- Content from traveler reviews must appear within quotation marks
- It must be clear that the quoted review was from a traveler on Tripadvisor. Please accompany quotes with phrases like “A Tripadvisor traveler review” or “Reviewed by a Tripadvisor traveler”
-You may use a traveler’s Tripadvisor member name as long as Tripadvisor is acknowledged, e.g. “Tripadvisor traveler ” - If review content is accompanied by a photo, the photo must be directly related to the review

Ranking
Whenever referencing a property’s popularity ranking on Tripadvisor, you MUST cite the specific month and year for that reference.
- The Tripadvisor popularity index ranks individual listings based largely on the quality, quantity, and freshness of traveler reviews, and is subject to change without notice.
- You must cite the specific month and year for the ranking reference. Example: If you want to claim a property that is the “#1 Hotel in New York City,” you must include the phrase “according to Tripadvisor travelers as of March 2020.”
Dark Mode
Bubble ratings should always be placed over a white background in Tripadvisor Moss #00AA6C. Dark mode is the only permissible scenario where the bubbles are not placed on white background. Please use color code #84E9BD in dark mode to provide more contrast. An unfilled or partially filled bubble is transparent (never white) with a green outline.
